Rockport Boat Club Youth Sailing (“RBCYS”) is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
The purpose of the organization is to promote and support youth sailing by providing educational instruction in sailing skills, water safety, seamanship, and environmental stewardship; to foster teamwork, discipline, and leadership among young participants; to provide financial and logistical support for youth participation in sailing activities and competitions; and to ensure that sailing opportunities are accessible to all youth regardless of economic status.
